On Friday evening, 24 March 2006, Michael performed four dramatic poems, accompanied by Jason Smith on keyboard and Nigel Gavin on guitar, at the One Two One (former Atomic) Cafe in Ponsonby, Auckland.  (Notes for the poems appear below).
